Parents,

What a busy start to the school year, and it is only September!

Fall sports are getting underway, please come out and support our volleyball team as well as our county football and cross country teams.

Hopefully by now you have become familiar with your child’s daily schedule, homework, and have been getting regular communication from your child’s teacher about what is going on in their classroom. Remember that communication is a wonderful way to stay informed about how your child is doing to ensure they have a successful year. Please be on the lookout for the midterm reports which will go out on Wednesday, September 15th.

Thank you to our A.P.P.L.E.S. group for supplying the refreshments during our open house and for getting the magazines sales going, all the proceeds benefit our school and students. Their first meeting is Thursday, September 2^nd at 6:30 in the Large Group Instruction room.

Grandparents/Special Persons Night will be Thursday, September 9^th from 6:00-7:00. A short musical celebration will take place in the gym followed by refreshments in the cafeteria.

A reminder as well that the music department is having their annual chrysanthemum sale, orders are being taken through September, the pick up is on September16 from 2-5 in front of the school. The mums are $10.00 and come in red, bronze, yellow, white, or purple. Order forms are available in the office or from Mrs. Anderson.

APPLES Magazine Sales begins September 8. Please use the online ordering options, they are quick and easy. Some great prizes for selling!! The proceeds go to the school and your children.
